Dear Donna and Forest -
So many of my childhood memories include the Rice family, our neighbors; ;most notably Don Rice, who was always bigger than life with his booming voice, and remarkable laugh. You just can't help but love a person who could bring such sunshine into everybody's life.
With love, Diana Hopkins (aka Deenie)

We will miss his wit, charm, and sense of humor. He was always a welcome guest at any get-to-gather, trip, or visit. Once you met him, he was your friend for life. His visits to us were always a pleasure and highly antipated. He will be greatly missed!

I knew Don since 1959 I was 8 years old right after my sister Nancy was born We lived across the street from the Four Corners Fire Station and I became a Jr. Fire Marshal at that time He was just a really good guy and I always loved to hear the stories about the SSVFD back in the days of old Also visted him at WWDC and was given the grand tour He will be missed by many who's lives he touched

Don was at WWDC Radio when my husband Bob Robinson was News Director. Bob was always so appreciative of Don's support and I remember him as such a genuinely decent person.
